Chinese helos in Portsmouth

Post by bizfreeq » Sun Jan 11, 2015 10:47 pm

Hi All
Here are a few of the Z-8s and Z-9 taken from the harbour tour boat this afternoon. Unfortunately I had to work this morning so missed the sunshine so the quality isn't as good as I would have liked:

Not something you see every day, thanks for sharing.
Would I be right in thinking Super Frelon and Dauphin copies ?

Fantastic catch :thumb: . That's certainly something you don't see everyday.
Nice pics too despite the poor(ish) light.

Are they copies or licence built versions ? I wasn't aware of those.

Many thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated. If they had come in when planned i.e. Monday, I wouldn't have been able to get there and share these! They are supposed to be leaving on Wednesday p.m. according to the guide on the tour boat.
Cheers
