RAF Lakenheath 20/11/2014

Post by mozzer » Sun Nov 23, 2014 8:20 pm

I made my first ever visit to Lakenheath last Thursday, with VC10man, it was a bit of a trek up from Bristol but well worth it. I watched the after dark departures as well on the day before, which was great to see. The F15's do make a strange eerie howl type noise when they start up which I had never noticed.
It was good to chat with various people on the day, I never remember or got your names, apart from James V.

Anyway here are some of my images.
