The Lynx HMA8s of 815 NAS remain very active.

The Portland Gate Guard 'Black Cat' Lynx HAS3 is at Yeovilton receiving some TLC


with 1 Regt now in residence Army Air Corp visitors are more frequent

visiting 9 Regt Lynx AH7




and a 651 Sqn Defender AL2

Does anyone know the out of service dates for the various older Lynx versions

I had heard that the AH.7 is due to retire at the end of 2015, not sure on the AH.9A (assume given the mods its got more time)

Any ideas?

Great set, good to see some Heli action for VL, lovely sharp shots
