Great shots,good to see some Hornets overland.
They are the first operational shots i've seen from Saxon Warrior.

Thanks, the clouds disappearing just as the F-18s arrived was a hell of a relief. Though quite difficult to spot them initially at higher levels it was great when they came lower, and a couple of friends got better quality catches! US Naval Forces posted on their Facebook page a good photo of the same aircraft on this mission during air-to-air refuelling.
Seahawks too were a good and pleasing catch.

Cheers. Wish we could say when's a good time to visit Spadeadam but plan for nothing on a good sunny day and it can only be better!! Wonderful solitude and wilderness landscape to enjoy otherwise, and a good waterfall in the gorge.
