With luck like that you should've headed on down to Vegas. A sight and sound that will stay with you long after these guys have stopped flying :'(

I believe the QF-4's are to stop flying by the end of the year, and all remaining airframes will then head to White Sands Missile range for use as ground targets. There's mention of this flight in this months AFM on page 13.

Was really good to meet you and hopefully do it again sometime! Looks like the rest of your trip was worthwhile..hopefully you got back to the Canyon for those F-35 passes? Maybe see you there next time :D
