Forgot to ask, all those guys at the fence, are they Japanese, and as big into aircraft as Brits, or are they foreigners visiting?

In my experience the Japanese are massively into photography and most civil airfields have a viewing deck. There are Japanese numbers books so I guess spotting also happens. The air shows are really well attended by a sea of people and their families.

CHeers Danny

The Japanese are really into the photography side of Aviation, not so much serials, everyone in that picture was Japanese,at one point I was with my Japanese friend who started laughing,I was the only non Japanese person standing at the departures end with about 100-150 Japanese toggers  Probably best part of 200 around the base that day.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone,i`ll try and do a seperate post sometime this week with just the based aircraft.
