Thanks I am not an expert in weapons but here goes. In photo three the smooth missile with the white tip is most likely an AIM -120 without the 2 sets of stabilising fins fitted, I understand that the blue rings denote that they are inert. Inboard of that is a AM 9M sidewinder. On the other wing inboard, it looks like a paveway missile but not sure which one, GBU-?Redfoot60 wrote:Fantastic shots, love the angles. I was doing nature photography like yourself that day, so watched the Eagles fly over pairs of displaying goshawks etc. Never a dull moment in a Breckland sky. I was asked by a fellow birder about the missiles carried - do you know what the weapons are and why F15s appear fly 'armed'?
Thanks for the comment,Blackcat1 wrote:Great shots!!. I have a photo of 2 A10s landing at LN at the exact same angle as the 2nd shot :-)

Just shows how there are some different views at LH if the light and time allows. Some others have posted some excellent and very different views here recently.
Like to see the A-10 shot if you still have it.
