Lightning Strikes an Eagle 26th April

So today Lightning Struck and I'm not talking F-35As, I'm talking actual lightning on 91-0303 as he made his way back into Lakenheath.

You can see the damage to the nose cone caused by the lightning strike.

Damage caused by the strike, there are also marks on the canopy right at the front!

Yer I assumed the damage was the ring, can't really see the rest is it the "burnt" looking area? :S

Good shot thou mate, I heard there was three struck is that correct or was it just this one?

looks like 1/2 of the air speed tube is missing and also another sensor for the aircraft's angle of attack?
