JW 2017-1 MOD Woodbridge Suffolk (Sunday 2nd April)

Post by james.25 » Sun Apr 02, 2017 8:52 pm

Popped over to Woodbridge today to try and catch the Atlas that was due in, but unfortunately I had to leave before it arrived. However we (me and the kids) were treated to a couple of hours of rotary action! This was my first time taking pictures at Woodbridge so I wasn't too sure where to go but we walked down just past the locally well known "east gate" and found a nice little spot to watch the action. Kids loved it too, so everyone was a winner!

Cheers :)

Very nice James. I arrived just too late, you were leaving as I pulled up.
First A400M to Keevil went back to Brize. And I had left before the one that did arrive (different aircraft to previous)
Glad you got the helis
Thanks for posting.

Cheers guys,

Trev, my apologies I never spotted you in case you put your hand up etc, We've had some nice (Garden spotting) passes from the A400 out our way though haven't we, I believe i'm only down the road from you in Bacton...

Hoping to get up to Woodbridge again this week after work...

Cheers :)

No worries James, I was in a different car so you wouldn't have recognised it.
I got a few OTT shots of the A400 from home on Saturday which I have put on Flickr.
I would have liked to got over to Woodbridge after work, but haven't had a free evening.
All the best
Trev
