A three day trip around the bases.

Post by Axle2uk » Tue Jan 24, 2017 6:49 pm

Hi Guys, finally managed to get a few days off work that actually synced with the misses, so we took a road trip and did a few bases, met some cracking folks along the way.
Not a huge amount of pics processed so far, but I hope you like these.

Tony,
Although I feel the watermark distracts from some of the photos, that first shot has an overwhelming WOW factor. Well done
On a more personal level, how on earth do you manage to get your missus out of bed and on an airfield perimeter for 8am at this time of year?

Hi Freeman, thanks for your comments, and appreciate the watermark isn't ideal, but ultimately it does its job I think

As for the misses, its actually all her fault why I got into taking photos of jets in the first place. She's mad for them, has a unhealthy love of Tornado's, I cant get my head around it and why the Typhoons arn't enough for her haha even to the point of spending the whole day at Marham last week when there were zero opportunities for taking photos lol We did manage to get to see some action over there though, plenty of dual approaches and take offs.

Thanks for your comments
Regards
Tony

Hi Andy mate, thanks for your comments as always.

We'll have to sync our visits some time this year, I just hope I can get the chance more than last year.

Kind regards mate

Some nice shots there, but for the RAF at least it's RAF 'Station', Lossiemouth, Marham, Coningsby etc, love America, not keen on 'Americanisms'.
