Fleet Week New York

Post by Nick.M » Wed Jun 15, 2016 9:33 am

My wife took me to New York for my 40th birthday as a surprise, as if that wasn't enough it was Fleet Week!
I said I'll take my camera just in case, glad I did.........

Brilliant shots Nick :thumb:

Not the easiest aircraft to shoot, but the light looks really good - well done

A very nice 40th birthday present as well :)

Cheers

My wife took me in February for my 50th, but it was snowing! Whereabouts did they land?

All i got for my 40th was a lottery ticket, i thought "hey ho, you never know . . "

Come saturday we were all watching the draw, got one number, then two, then three . . i thought bl**dy hell . . fourth number came in :O then the rest in quick succession :Wow: :Wow:

HOLY CARP WE'VE WON!!

She let me go for about five minutes reeling off what car i would buy and where we were going to go on holiday . . . then she revealed that it was recorded from the previous week by replaying it on the sky. :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr:
