Edit. It's quite funny you had to Google it though
Yes I do know about the Clarity filter in RAW yet I have never had it "tarnish" an image quite as badly as this....maybe you are over using it to recover an image?

If you have never come across something before would you not google it?

I used the clarity filter on this image yet I don`t see anything like that which is around your image?

I accept your word that it is genuine and congrats on that.

Feel free to criticize, sorry its only 2 but having only got home late last night its not my top priority.

I won`t bother with my own thread as there are more than enough already with Raptors

I did not imply anything, I didn't say it was photoshopped. just curious on a technical point of view . Now I know you were using a 1000 mm + focal lens, this explains the "big" moon and the relatively " small " F22, that 's the only point which puzzled me. Once again, nice shot .

thanks for all the comments but can we please draw a line under the moon shot, it is what it is, not photoshopped, the only thing I have done is change the levels to bring out the colours a bit and add some clarification. If you still think its photoshopped well there isn't much I can say to that. thanks

I'm so envious, super shots. If I drove down to Lakenheath (I live in South Yorkshire) next Friday what are my chances of seeing them too?

Not too sure about Friday flying but I'm sure if you ask the question in the Lakenheath section someone in the know will be able to help :thumb:

I`m very happy to have been proved incorrect on my post and happy to pass on my sincerest apologies.

Well done on catching the image sir.

Thanks for the apology Ross, its appreciated. I re looked at the moon shot and I had put the clarification up to 100% hence the halo, so I had another go at it
