A sunny Lossie in September

Post by Zymurgy661 » Sat Jan 23, 2016 2:20 pm

At the end of September i managed to sneak a day trip to Lossiemouth in whilst on a rearranged honeymoon to Scotland (not quite the same as West Coast America but unfortunate circumstances meant we had to delay that to 2016). Well prepared for it to be freezing cold and overcast it seems we picked a rare tropical spell with some lovely light and plenty of moves. A great place to take pics and some lovely beers in the local pubs!

A very belated thanks to Niall, Al and Mark for letting me tag along with them for the day.

Just a few shots -

1. First shot of the day, can't argue at that!

2. Only the one flying but glad to have caught a II(AC) Sqn Typhoon whilst there

3. Can't go to Lossie and not get a shot with the lighthouse in the background!

4. I may be slightly outnumbered but i quite like the look of the twin stick Typhoon

5. Just the single XV(R) Sqn Tornado that day but stayed in the circuit for most of the time.

6. Some lovely backdrops on show!

Thanks for looking!

Excellent shots Adam, you just can't beat Lossie for photo locations and the background scenery - the best in the UK by far. :)

Excellent pics, Adam :thumb:

I, for one, agree about the twin-stick Tiff ;)

Cheers

Another vote for the twin sticks.
Have to agree that Lossie is great for photography.
Great shots

Regarding the Twin Seat, Single seat Typhoon debate I just love the Typhoon whichever it is. It's an awesome and cool Aircraft.
