Hawk leaves BAe brough

Post by hammo » Thu Jul 08, 2010 4:52 pm

Today at 11;00 am the latest Hawk to leave Brough was RT001 (ZK010) , which is a re-worked aircraft that first flew back in 2005 i believe.

Also on tuesday of this week RT006 ( ZK015) was sat on the pan looking ready to go,but as i
understand it never left, please correct me if anyone knows different. Also a peek into the hangar
and just visable is another T2 which looks also like a re-worked aircraft.

Thanks to Alf for the company today and hello to Windoze11 and Target whom i met at waddington flying in days.

Well cought as usual hamo, she's had a few new bits fitted, hydraulic and re-fuelling doors on intakes, fuse to wing fairing strip, two new pcu aft fairings,a stbd outer underbelly fairing, port and stbd l/edge closing plates and a nose cone. Tried to expand on the serial number stuck on the nose of the one in the hangar, but it just pixelates.Regards Paul.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing. I never saw it over my way (Howden). Next time get the extra extra big lens on and see if you can get the F 35 in the hangar ;) :pop: :D

Hello hamo, another re-delivery today, ( i presume re-delivery ) I saw and heard a hawk take off from Brough and do a flyby over the factory at 12 20 pm today. I only saw it from my garden so I was not close enough for serial no's but it looked black, so I presume it was RT006 (ZK015) .Regards Paul.
