Props in Japan...

Post by cfcke » Sun Nov 22, 2015 12:09 pm

I recently spent 3 days in Japan. The shots can be seen on my Flickr site (lots of F-4's), but seen in one day at Iruma AFB were these lovely old YS-11's...

The three blade prop versions make a significant sound different to the 4 blade RR engines. A much deeper 'throb' not totally different to Transalls.
