Chinook ZH904 - Stevenage A1M Junction 7 Helipad

Post by arb » Tue Mar 24, 2015 9:03 pm

Hi,

A few from this afternoon.

They come over quite often, but no idea what they actually do. Maybe picking up/ dropping stuff off to/ from MBDA. They only ever stay for about 10 minutes.

How interesting, live fairly nearby, seen a windsock there before, drive past almost daily on my commute and never knew there was a helipad there but just seen it on google maps having looked at your photos! Nice pics.

Seems I live not far from you and I didn't know about the helipad either. A mate of mine works for MBDA so I'll ask him if he can tell me anything about why the Chinooks visit.
