Royal Danish Air Force Merlins:Valley, Snowdonia+ Air to Air

I had a great day on Thursday, I managed to tee up a sortie with the RoDAF Merlin Det to the mountains in the morning. On our return, the captain of the second aircraft asked if I'd fly with them again to generate some air to air imagery for the Sqn. The cloud and visibility was awful, but it really wasn't a tricky decision ..... :)

Thanks for the great comments everyone, the sorties were a great experience - very different to shooting in a cramped Fast Jet cockpit. The crews seemed very thankful for the images that I'll send to them next week.

Swapping patches seemed to be a big thing with them - thankfully I've just swapped jobs at Valley so had a lot of patches spare!

Excellent post Paul, # 20 actually I think is my absolute favourite - brilliant memories for the crews considering Denmark is generally like a 'billiard table' with a few sand dunes :lol:
