Leuchars night flying 03-03-14

Not as sharp as I would have liked but it did have fun taking them. Something different from the normal I think but it gets to a point where you really do just have to stop as you will see from the last photo which is shot at 10000 ISO with the others being shot at 2000-5000 ISO.

Excellent work in tricky conditions - shot 6 gets my vote. I really like shots taken in the narrow window of time as darkness falls but not when its so dark that all you see are lights. The green glowing formation bars look terrific.
Was the aircraft stationary or moving when you took shot 6?
