Popped into Brize on my way home from a training course yesterday in the hope of seeing a C-17 or two
Got to the base to find it rather quiet, but stuck with it and made the walk passed the Sewage plant to the end of 08. Within 2 minutes of getting myself sorted I heard ASCOT 815 request engine start then a few moments later the sight of a C-17 tail emerged in the distance
He spent all afternoon doing various missed approaches and was still going when I left a few hours later 
Even had a few other movements inbetween 
Just for the record as the conditions were awful with the light snow and heavy cloud

Can honestly say other than the cold I really enjoyed myself and I hope to make the trip more often.

Was considering stopping the other side but I drove past at a rate of knots so decided to keep going
