Memory fades but I cannot remember my Hawks keeping their canopy's open
during taxy at Brawdy back in the early eighties. In fact it was quite an effort
whilst acting as brakeman towing them out and in. ;)

Lovely Niall, nice to see the hangar Queen put in an appearance, we were just chatting about her at Leuchars y day!
Regarding the hawks taxiing with the canopes open, I noticed they did this at Leuchars aswell couple weeks ago.

Lovely Shots Niall!

With regards to the Hawks Taxiing with Canopies open, the difference is that the T1s cannot taxi with the canopy open due to restrictions on the canopy struts and that the canopy seals inflate when the engine is on. whereas on the T2 there are no strut restrictions and the seals don't inflate on engine start, so they taxi with the canopy open because they can.
