RAF Brize Norton - 25 July 2011

Post by REF » Tue Jul 26, 2011 11:54 am

I was at Brize yesterday so I took the opportunity to stand at the end of the runway for a couple of hours, Hercs and a VC-10 circuit bashing followed by a C-17 and a Titan Airlines B767. All in all a good couple of hours.

Hi Mark, it depends if I can get the time off work for the open day, would like to go if I can but weekends are not always easy for me to get off.

Glad you like the photos, thought I'd put a few more on here than on facebook!

love the shoot of the hercules with the vc10 in the background joining up for the approach
May the skies be clear and blue and the wind fair with a guiding star to steer by.

Another vote for the C130 / VC shot :thumb: Havent had the chance to get to the local much lately, but the Hercs are certainly busy :D

No, you can't!
If you wish to visit Brize at the 26 end, its best to park up in Brize Norton village hall and walk down, it only takes a few minutes.

Very nice photos REF, I like the VC-10 shots
