RAF Valley 7 10 09

Post by mark17 » Wed Oct 07, 2009 7:51 pm

Hi All,

As a wedding present from my now wife she organised a base visit for me to Valley today.
I spent this morning outside the fence and the afternoon inside, unfortunately im not very clever at taking pictures in low light inside hangars so they are a little blurred.
It was great on base seeing the ins and outs of everything,i couldve gone outside the tower and took some pics but i got so into watch the ATC at work i didnt bother.
Anyhow some photos...

Thanks mate,
Shes not to keen on planes,if i could get her to an airshow she would love it,but the best part is she doesnt mind me going!!
Get yourself to Valley mate,it a really good place to visit, its wall to wall hawks but you do tend to get a few frontliners either overshooting or dropping in for lunch, you get really close to them, its great for pictures.
Thanks
Mark
