Visiting the Terrible Termites and their Hawgs at Davis-Monthan

Back in February, the 47th FS Terrible Termites hosted me at Davis-Monthan AFB for three days for the purposes of an article I wanted to write about A-10 pilot training. As an Air Force Reserve Command unit, the Termites were really laid back and produced a fantastic itinerary for me including a rare opportunity to fly the A-10C simulator. The resultant article was published in the May 2025 issue of Combat Aircraft Journal. This batch will focus on shots taken at DM. I'll post another thread on my time on the range and flying shots.
