F-15QA at Mildenhall 17/10/24 - it was a bit low!

Post by WinchesterMGF » Fri Oct 18, 2024 4:41 pm

Cracking few hours at Mildenhall yesterday.
In between the fun and games with the well-photographed and shared US Navy Hornets, the 2 F-15QAs that have been at Lakenheath since early August arrived after a check flight to await delivery to Qatar in the next couple of days. The lead pilot seemed keen to stretch the legs of his aeroplane and made about the lowest of low overshoots that I've seen outside of an airshow. It's been great having them around.

A pleasure Mr Seacat. To be fair, photo 2 was the one that prompted the post but it needed context, hence the other shots.👍
