160th SOAR NIGHTSTALKERS return to the Hall.

Post by BOLLO » Sun Sep 29, 2024 12:14 am

I was not sure how this would go, would BLACKOUT 21/22 the 2 returning 160SOAR MH-47Gs arrive via R28 and come full length and exit via Bravo or turn short on to Charlie South?? Or would they come in on R10 and exit on to Bravo ?? Fortunately, they called up for a R10 pattern app although the tower told them 28 was in use, thank the Lord BLACKOUT 21 still asked for the R10 recovery with the sun out I was well chuffed I got them on my first and only attempt. Here are a few shots, thanks again for looking. :thumb: :thumb:

A very good set, with the bonus of clear sky and even sunshine.

Cheers, fellas.Yes I was hoping to get them at some point, like the shots some of the chaps had posted when they did their test flights, so I was going to be happy with what I came away with. Glad I did not jump the gun and go down the other end now.
