I see on the second to last shot, there are lots of idiots standing on the approach. These type of people will get our hobby closed down one day.

Unfortunately it is just a matter of time…I also heard there was a near miss involving a spotter and a lorry on the A15 the other day by the wave.

Nice shots simmo, I missed the poles on Fri they didn't fly unfortunately.

Following on from the above,

While I was at the Wave on Friday 27th, I was crossing the main road with my camera and video in one hand and my little step ladder in the other hand and some pillock in a dark BMW or similar car actually sped up towards me as I was crossing the road, despite me ensuring that there was more than enough space/time for me to cross safely. Then, said pillock thought it acceptable to pip and yell abuse at me as he drove past.

Just be extra vigilant when crossing folks as most of the traffic observed during the day was doing more than 30 mph.

Similar issue at Lakenheath on the A1065 but the limit there is 40mph and starts at the "forest entrance". However the "pillocks" are not always the drivers but the eejits crossing the road with expensive kit and no road sense. No-one on here I'm sure...

All it will take is one accident at either location and that area will go for good, i came across some slides that I took at RAF Waddo in 1993? of Swiss Air Force Mirages and F-5's and then got to thinking that when I first went there you could count the spotters/photographers on one hand.
No cones, no restrictions, and no people with limited operating capacity,
