Decided to take the chance drive down to RAF Brize Norton on Saturday after reading a comment that the two USMC KC130Js (VMGR-234 from Fort Worth 'Rangers') would be departing in the morning.
After a while of standing around, they called for engine start, before taxiing down to the 25 end, before what ended up being a rather lengthy (approx 90 minute) hold from their planned take off time, to their actual departure time, due to some flight plan issues. This meant that we got to see them taxi onto the runway and off again in a nice close two ship formation to allow for a Voyager to depart, before a C17 departed as well!
Eventually at 11:05 and 11:15 they got airborne! Hope you enjoy the photos, shown in the order they were taken, apologies about the fence encroaching into some photos, forgot my ladder so had to stand on my toes for some shots.
