Arizona for 5 Days

Post by Boxhill Bob » Fri Apr 19, 2024 1:14 pm

Hi On my travels again this time Arizona for Luke and the last days of the WIT at Yuma MCAS It got hotter as the week went on topping out at 34 Degree
Not a bad trip and lots of variety and Fun being questoned by the Marine Police and the PMO for 1 1/2 hours at Yuma but all went OK The Fairground and the field next to it
and the field next to rear gate were you see some of the WIT aircraft now has sign saying US Gov property but there are still plenty of place to take photos
and after the stop we were looked at but not stop again .... Luke is slowly been surround by warehouses but again you can still find places to take photos
Anyway on with the photos

Great selection of shots and plenty of variety, good to see a splash of colour on some of the F-35s too, needs to be encouraged more. Really enjoyed seeing those Hunters and the Mirage too. Thanks for taking the time to put these up and sharing with us, much appreciated.

Your spot on with the warehouses at Luke, amazing how many have gone up in a year.
Did you get the Owls at Luke by the railway line?

Nice stuff ! Where were you when the security spoke to you. We had an encounter with plain clothes security from the base when we were parked on the eastbound roadside on the Eastern side of the R21 threshold ?
