Bones, Lynx and an Atlas 7th November 2023

Post by mikee115 » Wed Nov 08, 2023 9:40 pm

Evening all,

An interesting day out and about ended with a long wait to see a pair of Bones departing RAF Fairford for a 20hr mission.

First off was a visit to Middle Wallop and a couple of Lynx near the fire training area.

Next was a RAF A400 Atlas practicing air drops on Salisbury Plain.

After a long wait in the darkness with many other people, the night sky crackled with Howler 31 and 32 departing into the black sky, chasing down LAGR 91.

Lovely shots, the bones are brilliant! But I love the light on the A-400M and getting the landscape in :)

If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!
