Malbork AB 30-31 October 2023

Post by Olief22raptor » Sun Nov 05, 2023 5:57 pm

Spent the first two days of our week in Poland at Malbork, heading to the base on Monday afternoon, with two MiGs in the circuit as we arrived

The Italians currently have 4 F-35A deployed to the base, so when we tracked the Herc heading our way we were expecting a straight in approach, but much to our surprise, it broke into the circuit with 2 MiGs and 2 F-35s!

Which then all arrived in some nice light,

The Tuesday was rather miserable weather wise, but the MiGs and F-35s did some air to air sorties with a Casa, allowing for some decent (albeit high ISO) taxiing shots

Apologies for all the text, thought I'd try tell a bit of a story  Hope you all enjoyed.

Great write up and some lovely shots there! Great to see some MiG-29's! It's also great to see the F-35's with some 'art' on them as it were :) Cheers for posting.
