Carlisle 15/5/23

Post by toom317 » Tue May 16, 2023 3:08 pm

They're back! Great to have the Dutch back at Carlisle for exercise Tac Blaze. Fantastic day out, I stayed till just before 6PM when the last Apaches arrived. I was looking forward to getting some Grey Chinooks, but it looks like they are all in that yucky flat green colour scheme.

Great post.
Had no idea they were coming.
May have to nip up for a look this weekend.
Thanks very much!

Nice to see pictures of these helicopters. I believe they stay three weeks.

Yes, great to have them back, it's been a long time. Second shot, Cougar against the trees looks good. All the best, be aware that there should be a fourth Chinook arriving tomorrow.

I'll be at Spade tomorrow Kieron, so will stop by at Carlisle on the way down and back up.. The sun wasn't quite all the way round to light up that Cougar against the trees. The light can be a bit frustrating at times at Carlisle.
