Last September I visited Lakenheath to capture some 06 departures. It was a Friday and despite there being some nice F-15 and F-16 take offs, one F-35 departure really stood out..

I think if you check, you will find it was the 1st September - which was a Thursday... I was there too...and well remember 5493's epic departure...
