SPTA 15-17 August

Post by Olief22raptor » Tue Aug 23, 2022 3:08 pm

Spent a few days down on SPTA with some friends and we were blessed with a nice variety of aircraft providing plenty of action.

The Monday was spent on Deptford Down with a Merlin in the confines to kick off the day after a lot of running to catch it!

Then came another Merlin which used the airstrip before a pair of Apaches from Middle Wallop arrived

The Tuesday was a slow starter but the wait was made worth it when we saw a Puma conducting confined landings in Lindens, then a Hercules doing a drop on Everleigh DZ

Wednesday, our final day brought more confined landings, with a Merlin visiting Pennings and a Chinook in Lindens, which we then chased to Everleigh DZ and were rewarded with an awesome low pass upon their departure.

Very nice mate, great to spend a few days with you, not sure my legs have recovered from running down into the woods though
