Swedish Air Force Historic Flight at Volkel 15-07-2022

The Swedish Air Force Historic Flight came in for a fuelstop on their way to the RIAT. A nice day with lots of activity and the last time I saw an operational two seat KLu F-16 as the J-368 was withdrawn from service on the 18th of July. As by the end of July the curtain fell for the remaining F-16BM's at Tucson, the dual-seat F-16 is no longer operational within the KLu.

After well over 30 years at the fence of my 'homebase' this is the last ever pic I took from an operational Dutch two-seat F-16.

Unforunately the Swedish decided to depart down wind, while I was hoping for them to backtrack the runway and depart from the spot I was on. A quick relocation made sure I was in the best remaining position possible. Sun just didn't play ball for a short period.
