Reedham Lane

"I feel the need for speed!" Went down to crash gate four last Thursday (26th) for the PDA and hopefully catch some of the rehearsals for the Flypast. Weather wasn't too brill, low ceiling and gusts, heyho. So settled for watching the mass Typhoon launches which was good to see. Despite the chainlink fence being there, it's handy to know that the runway is sufficiently far enough away to be able to shoot through it without too much vignetting effect. A great spot for panning take off/landings, which I fully exploited shooting at speeds 1/250, 1/125, 1/80 and even 1/60. I took a lot of shots that day and deleted an awful lot of bummers (certainly wouldn't have tried this years ago shooting Kodachrome/Sensia :huh: ), anyway amongst the dross I managed to bag a few nuggets :) ;

Very nice Mark, some great shots there, excellent panning too. Well worth the effort despite the weather :thumb:
I was with it all the way until I released the brakes.....
