Nice photos.
Thanks for posting.
Can't believe they're disbanding this Thursday (!)
Seems like all my life there have been 100 Sqn Hawks flying out of Leeming, which is an exaggeration, but you know what I mean.

Regards,
Ferrari

Another airshow regular that is disappearing, sadly.
Thanks for sharing these.

Does anyone remember the 100 Sqdn Hawk T.1 which had under the cockpit "Flight Lieutenant Underwood - Ex-Fighter Pilot"? Think I saw it at a Leeming Airshow before they were based there.......

Must say I did like the 100 Sqdn Hawk in 2012 which was coloured like a Lancaster.

Notam for Leeming on 24/03/22 has 14.00 to 15.00 for the Parade. So flypast could be at the start or finish?

Any news if the disbandment flight might extend beyond RAF Leeming ?
100sqn has a long history at RAF Wyton.

Very nice Ali. Looking forward to being there for the disbandment Parade tomorrow. From the above NOTAM it appears that the Reds will also be making a flypast. Having witnessed The Ton's arrival @ Leeming on 21/09/95 (quite by chance) there's no way I was going to miss their exit and courtesy of RAF News I will be reporting on tomorrow's event. It will feature in 8 April edn and includes a brief, but comprehensive, squadron history.

The F/L Underwood in question was Rory Underwood the former England RU winger who was part of The Ton when it arrived in '95. Met him on a FLAG visit later and took a photo of him sitting in his jet. Don't remember it having the said inscription but as I'm about to catalogue all my 100 Sqn Hawk pics I'll check. Later. You're quite right Unknown74 and here it is just for you!
