Great photos and change up from more usual angles. I wonder if/when they'll operate in 'beast mode'? The photo I saw of the C variant all dirtied up seemed to help the aesthetics!

Thanks for posting.

A photo post clearly of F-35s and yet you looked anyway - just so you could make a negative comment about the type with no mention of the images!

Anyway back on topic - great set Adam which does show different angles well. I am still not a huge fan of the type myself but C&C is about image quality not necessarily the subject.

Nice and crisp, considering the light (or lack of it!) Good to see some different angles

Interesting angles. Anyone know what the devices on the upper fuselage are in front of the fin leading edges? Transponders?

WOW! Simply wonderful pics mate ... I very much enjoyed viewing the good clear and different angled shots.
I watched the Live YouTube stream with avid interest and your captures certainly do them justice!

Those are the Luneberg Lens that increase the RCS to make it more visible for ATC, there are 2 more underneath.

If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Cracking images, lovely and clear despite the gloomy weather Adam.

One preference, just wish they had been F22 Raptors but that's imho.

Great shots! I love the rear 3/4 angles you've captured...think it shows the aircraft at it's best. Actually the '35 is growing on me and it isn't a bad looking aircraft. I'm sure it's not the only aircraft in history to have not been popular to begin with, then grow on people later on. I remember when the F-16 first appeared to replace the F-104s, I wasn't too sure of the strange intake layout, or when the A-10s replaced the F-4s at Bentwaters....not exactly a beautiful aircraft.... but really got to love the 'hog' as time went on.
The star and bar position i find slightly odd on the USAF F-35 machines though...looks like it's been added as an afterthought 🤔
