DARK41 departing this afternoon, tried a different angle today. You can see it leap forward off the brakes with all that power!

More great footage from you
Yes see what you mean about the nose rising - which is some power when you see how long the aircraft is!
Would like to try from there with an early morning departure - to get a more side-on view.

What a machine , great footage . Wish I was there to witness that beast and get the noise fix . Blessed with the weather , its a bit of a run for me , I'm over near Alconbury area , normally can see them and the buffs on climb out to the coast, not been lucky so far , Saturday to cloudy for me . Hope you did get them today , well done you again

Thanks The Phantom! The end of 27 is great but always worth trying different angles. The Phantom wrote: ↑Fri Oct 22, 2021 3:12 pmMore great footage from you![]()

Thanks for your comments WillowMan. Yes I did get them yesterday in the dark and over the top with burners! It's on my You Tube page but haven't posted here as don't want to swamp the photo / video section. Hope you get them coasting out your way at some point during the deployment.WillowMan wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 12:23 pmWhat a machine , great footage . Got a question for you , to get above fence are you using a ladder ? I say this as last year when the buffs were around , I did a run to shoot them on the ground . I moved home in December and the estate agent did some brilliant aerial shots of home with a decorators pole , using his iPhone and his Canon camera . I already had a pole which can go up 5 metres , so I purchased a phone holder (not normal holder , musician's use these for orchestra works , got from USA ) got the appropriate top holder to screw my Canon 850d on to and used the Canon app to Bluetooth image from lens . Walking the fence around Fairford with this large stick was a bit weird , most of the guys shooting through the fence were impressed gave them the feedback and sites to get parts . That's why I'm interested in how you shot the Bones and anything else . Airfields are using high fences now , I hadn't been to Fairford since Kosovo days , got my time on my hands now I'm in late 60s , been all over the world spotting . Got into shooting steam trains , interest in your feedback , WillowMan , thanks again for great video
