to be honest it was a stressful week but one that we will probably never host again for a long time, saw some iconic aircraft and some rare beauties. I hope you enjoy these picture's and they do some sort of justice to what the event actually was like to see the many support aircraft that were used, and there were many, please look on my Flickr account https://flic.kr/ps/VrVCg

thanks for looking

Phil

That's a very nice set indeed Phil, love the Canadian and so pleased the Sun eventually shone for you, and the guy's at St Mawgan :thumb:

Great report, and yes, it may take a long time to see the likes again :P

Wonderful selection of images - especially the Japanese 777. I was under the impression that St Mawgan was off limits for the G7?
... and a fair haired slightly balding Bobby Charlton to kick off!

I still can not believe that on Friday 11th we were stood about half a mile form the end of 30 and still did not see the Korean B747 as it passed over us at 800 feet. A truly horrible day and massive credit to the pilots who landed in such conditions.

Love that last shot of the Japanese triple 7, look at the condensation in the intakes!
