Evening all,

A very welcome and unexpected visitor at Newcastle today was Gloster Meteor T.7 G-JWMA / WA638. This airframe was built in 1949 and has been in the capable hands of Martin-Baker Aircraft Company Ltd since 1952. Arriving and departing in formation with Beech 200 King Air G-BGRE.

Saw that pair of aircraft after lunch today heading to Lossiemouth. Only the light aircraft was showing on FR24 (I got inside to check once I made sure I wasn't seeing things - The MB meatbox). I'd seen a MB light aircraft dropping into Lossie earlier in the morning on FR24.

Very distinctive sound that old jet engine makes :clap:
