New Charlie

Post by hawgwash » Wed Mar 10, 2021 6:22 am

I know, I know, F-35's are pretty dull and boring but the F-35C is the rarest of the breed and catching one is a bit of a treat. The most charismatic with the twin front wheels and big wing, it just looks the part. A shame that the navy won't allow unit markings to be applied by the factory. F-35C 169789 on a test flight from Carswell Field last week.

I have to agree that it does look more macho than the other F35 types. Thanks for posting.

Definitely the best looking variant of the F-35.

Nice shots, keep them coming.

Can’t wait to get back out to the US again, when safe.

Cheers

Hi Matt, excellent shots, thanks for posting. I do agree that it is the best looking variant and even gear-up that bigger wing sets it apart. Lands like an aeroplane should, as well, leaving aside the Harrier!
