Fairford 25/26.09.2020

Post by Thunderbolt II » Sun Sep 27, 2020 10:14 am

Hi all,

A few images from a good couple of days down at Fairford on Friday and Saturday. Had struggled to get there for this exercise for various reasons, but was very lucky with weather and movements, made it down there in the nick of time! Can't complain. Hopefully worth a perusal, maybe posted too many! Thanks for looking...

IMG 8687 particularly interesting. The "boss" is a "full bird colonel".... Apt nose art! Great CV shows B1 and B2. I'll bet he has a soft spot for the Buffs. Check out on Google Col Michael O Walters. Mods can remove if this is inappropriate, but all is available online.

If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Interesting. Thanks exatco.
I assume this chap led the first Ukraine sortie. He sounded like a no-nonsense individual on comms during the run back to Fairford.

Thank you. For some reason the PM isn't in my inbox?
