life line - could it be a RM ( part of RN ) operated AH.1 - they unfortunately have "Army" titles.

In any case, thanks for sharing. That's a hell of a 50cal they've got !! Wouldn't want to tangle with a Wildcat.

Evening All,

Thanks for your comments.
In addition to ZZ527 there were two others, ZZ354 being one of them but both had 'ARMY' on the boom. However, the support crew were all from 847NAS and all three were flown by RN/RM personnel.
I'll add shots when/if found in the Covid-19 shielding trawl the hard drive activity. Chinook over the range is about to be posted.
