Air Brakes, Chutes and Burners RAF Coningsby

Post by LTFT5 » Sun Aug 30, 2020 4:22 pm

Hi to all,
The following were all shot at various points around the base on the 20.08.20.
The weather was glorious and the heat haze a real challenge.
Hope you enjoy

Great shots Andy! The tiffy on finals at pic 9 almost resembles a toom... Did never see that much smoke on a tiffy...

Great set of shots! I was going to say the second one is my favorite but having seen them all, they are all brilliant.

Still haven't made it up there this year COVID and all.

Last week of October is the only chance now :/

Hi Chrissly
The Tiffy did a missed approach and had just put the burners on when I took the shot.
Glad you like them.

Hi Chris :P
Have to say the second one is one of my favourites as well but glad you liked them all.
On the whole people have maintained separation distances but as you are aware there's always one or two who don't.
Let me know if you come down.

Thanks again to all who take the time to comment or offer advice :thumb:
