Another G550 should have arrived after 14.00 local but I had left by then. The Hercules departed as I was leaving.
I’m not sure what the situation is regarding travel to Germany from the U.K. I’m resident in the Netherlands, travelling from the U.K. to the Netherlands you won’t need to self quarantine, going back to the U.K. you would have to self isolate. All subject to change of course !

I kept away from the fence, plenty of room in the fields around the approach. One of the policemen in my vicinity was more interested in the aircraft, he had some serious photographic equipment and it was only pointed towards the aircraft, not the publicFink123 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 7:41 pmalpharomeo wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 6:26 pmOne hour drive for me, plus there was plenty of space to allow for social distancing. At the place at the fence there was 0.0 social distancing. And police did nothing , exexpt 1 warning to wear face masks and removing people with stairs from the fence![]()
CURRENTLY Not if you fly between UK & Germany, but to drive there clearly takes you through the alleged 'plague-pits' of France, Belgium & Holland. A very attractive trip in normal times, but probably not viable in our new 'normal'.
Thanks ! Had hoped to be in your part of the world, this was a minor consolation prizePunkrunner62 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 3:04 pmVery nice shots, lucky you for being so close, thanks for posting.
