Coningsby 17th February

Post by johnwickenden » Mon Feb 17, 2020 9:47 pm

First visit to Coningsby this year.....no special reason, other than I was in the area. Spent a couple of hours at the eastern end in the late afternoon. Frankly the light was doing all kinds of weird things....dark, bright...you name it.At least I managed to get some shots of the 6 sqn bird ! Hope these are worth a look.....

The pilot's name under the canopy is Maj J Adolphson......presumably an exchange pilot?

Its gonna rain, its gonna rain till the levee breaks, a tidal wave of fear and pain washes us away, another fight into the night until nothing else remains, how do we find harbour from the Hurricane?

Nicely done. Was down there myself this afternoon. The weather was less co-operative. A tad crunchy even. The 6 Sqn machine was in the air again.
