Great photos from one of my favourite bases.
Always wondered why the T2 is cleared to taxi with canopy open but the T1 isn’t

The T1's canopy supports do not enable it to be taxied with the canopy open plus the canopy seals on the T1 inflate when the engine is started and so the canopy had to be shut when the engine was on, the T2 has a different system and therefor doesn't need to close the canopy so it can Taxi with the canopy up ''Because we can''.
