This pilot appeared to have a normal flight suit and helmet not the yellow "space" type.

Basically the driver of the car relays the height and position above the runway to the pilot, as the view from the cockpit is less than ideal and the U2 doesn't manoeuvre like other a/c in order to correct any mistakes.

Great shots especially No3. Was No1 taken from outside the fence?
