Haven't posted for a while! I had a very-very busy February after I got back from the UK trip, in fact spent a week at Hyakuri for 302SQ Phantoms that are to be gone within this month. I'll cover that with separate post; in the meantime I'd like to share few interesting catches I made from my local airbase, Seongnam. Korea in March - despite often being sunny - rarely see clear blue skies due to severe dust coming over from China. Thankfully, I was treated with the blue sky yesterday with strong northerly winds blowing in after two weeks of continuous deadly haze.

Recently, ROKAF converted few of their H variant (allegedly four) into MC-130H standards. They are easily noticeable by the IR pod installed under their chin.

In 2017, ROKAF acquired two Falcon 2000S based SIGINT platform, and will be acquiring two more in coming years. Here, 13-714 performing a surveillance approach with RC-135 seen in the background. (nice combo innit')

One of many ROKAF's VIP fleet, both CN-235 based frames (02050 and 02051) are wearing a special livery which I think is fitting very well on them.

Does it look special? Yes it does, Presidential Chopper working on a visual circuit on a sunny afternoon.

Had bit of a luck with two Falcons flying, normally you see none up in the air

With 20 in the fleet, CN-235 is a key player in ROKAF's air transportation missions.
Well it would be less fun if it ends up here, right? So I brought one more...
