I can! 131 and 067 white. 057 wore a 201 filo badge. Non of the others did. 95-099 had its tail sticking out of a hangar near the Phantom static area with a shark (202 filo).

Visiting 97-133 was read off by me and had a 125 filo badge. 94-068 (also white and visiting) did not carry any badge.

Anyone for the F-4 and AS532 serial that were in the hangar to the left when the busses entered the static area after leaving the road from maingate? Also the one on the right contained an F-16 (not noted by me).

I did note a few preserved aircraft, but not all read off. Also there seems to be some descrepancy between those serials and ones noted before, so obviously someone got caried away with a pencil. :whistle:

Mid-field preserved aircraft (behind visitors flightline);
T-33A 54-1548 (white) - could be the real ID, l/n 1999
F-84G 48-0987 (grey) - could be 51-10987, l/n 1999
Beechcraft T11 ..-.200? (grey) - could be AT-11 6933, l/n 1999
RF-84F 59-7234 (grey) - could be 52-7234, l/n 1999
F-100D 55-5775 (grey, type noted from the plaquard in front) - could be 55-2775, l/n 1999 also as 55-775

Fire dump;
1x RF-4E serial not found l/h side/nose wheel door (to much burned). It did however look to be wearing old German AF c/s looking at the nose, so possibly never entered service and/or was one of the spares. It is noticable on GE since 2010.

Anyone for the serials at the main gate (F-4, F-100, F-84, F-86?) and the ones parked behind the parking lot (F-104, F-5, T-33, RF-4E, F-100, T-37)?

I agree. The behaviour of some people was shocking, and made me embarrassed for them. Let’s just hope our Turkish hosts aren’t put off from doing something similar in the future.
I've heard a few people mention this. Eskisehir is not the easiest place to get to, why go to all that effort and expense an then just be an idiot (toned down words) when your their? Everyone there had been invited by the Turkish authorities so no casual visitors, just genuine aviation enthusisasts.. some with big issues that should have been left at home... unbelievable! Lets hope it does not deter future events happening.

I echo the comments on the behaviour. I found myself disgusted by a lot of what went on during both days, ashamed even...

The Sunday was the worst of it, in 15-20 years of doing this I don't think it's ever been so bad, so much so that along with half of our group we walked out before the second wave

I think its clear behaviour in society has degraded post Covid, but our hobby seems like it's on steroids. I wouldn't begrudge the Turkish if they took this event and decided not to bother again, such a lack of respect and what felt like a tunnel vision attitude when most of the time it didn't provide any benefit to those pushing the boundaries. Our community run them ragged during the morning, they struggled to control it resulting in additional personnel dragged in to help... not to mention the very public offering out by one prolific repeat offender in the WhatsApp chat, such a bad look with the organisers watching on

The action in the valley really did save a sour taste heading home. It was one of the best experiences in the hobby during the same timeframe, but Sunday was a polar opposite for me
Cheers
Aaron

I didn't think it was that bad ? Ok in the morning it was a bit chaotic for a short period while they worked out where we could and couldn't stand - the Turkish were trying to corale everyone down between the 3-5 markers which was the right place as it turned out as that is where the phantoms rotated - but the language barrier made it difficult for both sides to understand each other - I think a lot of us myself included thought they would take a much longer take off run.

The main issue in the morning I thought was that people were standing too close to the runway which meant rotate shots from further back would have to crop out the heads

But after the first wave launched and people got a feel for what would happen when they recovered it all seemed to go well and the Turkish themselves were smiling and enjoying the scenario

I stayed by the northern taxyway away from the masses who were by the runway and found plenty of space in the afternoon as most of the locals had understandably gone home - its only us enthusiasts who want to photo the same planes again!

For those unable to attend, can you say what happened please?

Gives you a good idea although the camera missed some of the lower passes as it was higher up the slope behind a small hillock

Re behaviour on the Sunday I agree some of what I saw was inexcusable. Some spotters behaved as though they didn't care what they had to do to get the shot they wanted, I've seen rudeness plenty of times at any event but this was total disregard for others in some cases.

Part of the issue was overcrowding though, too many photographers along a short length of runway will generate friction, the TuAF should have put a cap on numbers and charged for attendance.
